[attr="class","p_block"]personality
[attr="class","p_post"]Samaria is very quiet and reserved. She barely talks at all and prefers to keep to herself, very wary of strangers and anything that may invade into her space. She isn't exactly territorial in the sense that she is possessive over the land she claims, but she will often act with aggression toward anything she sees as a threat, and considering how little trust she has, that is most creatures that are near her size or bigger. However, despite her wariness, she also has a lot of curiosity. She will tend to explore, and be drawn to things that attract her attention or are too small to seem very threatening. Most would say she is very feral and not human at all, or others might describe her as a frightened child who was greatly mistreated - both would be quite correct really. Still, when someone does manage to earn her trust, which is a slow process, she will become emotionally dependent on them and not like to be separated from them, but she will also be very affectionate and caring, as well as very selfless toward them. Anyone that earns and then betrays her trust, hurts someone she cares for, or just simply harms her out of the blue, will often see a more vicious side of her and she likely would never trust them afterwards. Samaria does not tend to communicate much, preferring to remain silent or use body language beyond issuing warning sounds like hisses.

[attr="class","p_block"]appearance
[attr="class","p_post"]It is hard to see the human side of what Samaria once was. Her body is smaller and lighter than a normal human her age, though she is still 4'7 long and 63 lbs, a lot bigger than the animal of her bio-imprint. Her bones are lighter than humans but not nearly as fragile as her animal counterpart's, her spine is also longer than a human's, and she has a long, prehensile tail. Her arms and legs have morphed to appear somewhere between human and Petauridae structure, with what would have been hands and feet both appearing as hands with four fingers and a thump as well as sharp pointed claws. Her skull isn't as elongated as that of a sugar glider would be, but lies somewhere between that and humans, with a more developed 'muzzle' like a sugar glider would have. Her eyes are big and round like her animal counterpart, and her ears are large and capable of swiveling to listen. Between her wrists and ankles is a flap of skin that allows her to glide when she spreads her arms and legs, though still allows her to move about on all fours. While she can stand on her hind legs to reach higher or balance on her forelegs if needed, she can't really walk effectively like this. With the exception of her feet, nose and the inside of her ears, she is covered in light brown fur not unlike her original hair color that thins and lightens on her ears and face, yet is a lot thicker and fluffier on most of her body and especially her tail. The fur on her ears, tail tip, legs, and a dorsal stripe from her forehead to just before her tail are a much darker brown, and her underbelly and face are a much lighter creamy white. Her mouth and nose are much more like a sugar glider's, including the long tongue and sharp, bark scraping teeth, though her front teeth aren't nearly as long as a sugar gliders would be, a little more proportional to her other more human like teeth though still longer and sharper. Where her eyes use to be a honeyed brown, they are now a dark brown that almost appears black.

[attr="class","p_block"]history
[attr="class","p_post"]Samaria was born on the planet Fantelele as an only child, though the public didn't actually know she existed. Her mother left not long after she was born, leaving her to only her father, who preferred to leave her at home with nannies to care for her while he went out for work, gambling and drinking. He never spent much time with her, and while this upset her when she was very young, she grew up to realize this was a good thing as he was short-tempered and often drunk, making him very frightening to be around for a child. Without much exposure to the outside world and generally being very frightened of her father, she grew attached to the one human that raised and cared for her, right up until that woman disappeared, and then she barely ever left her room or spoke at all, despite living in a very big house. Her father was a very cruel man that wanted nothing to do with her because of her reminding him of her mother, but that reminder was also what kept him from simply letting her be more free and live a normal life because of his disillusioned ways of keeping her close and 'safe' as well as knowing that a feral child like her would certainly attract the attention of those that ran The Game. And that she did.
When a door was left unlocked and she was exploring when her father wasn't home, Samaria found her way out into the domed city they lived in, acting for the most part like a shy and silent child that stuck close to women and children, and shied from men. Eventually though she drew a little too much attention when she bit someone for dragging her away from one of the trains, and found herself caught and brought not home, but somewhere else. If she was feral then, she was more so when they changed her, hurt her, made her something else entirely. She was scared before, but those scientists terrified her, and that made her surprisingly dangerous. Perhaps it was a good thing they didn't choose some kind of viscous predator to imprint her with.
