[attr="class","p_content"]When it comes to life, especially one out in the wild its quite often that creatures find themselves monitoring their condition, whether it be weariness, hunger, thirst, poison, or even internal bleeding they find themselves trying to find out what is ailing them and what condition it has left them in. Without machines, it would be hard to tell what vitality a creature is at, but instead, players will find that they must monitor general states, and take care of themselves or be punished. However, like in reality those who take care of themselves, monitor their health, and try their best to stay healthy could find that they have become healthier than average, or even exceptional health.
Health is an important mechanic on this site, not only does it refer to how close you to death or not the health system also manages the overall health of the player. It will monitor all effects on the player from bleeding, broken bones, poison to burning. It will also monitor important things like hunger, thirst, and tiredness working with the resource system. Players will also have a general health state that ranges from five different states with different meanings Fatal, Wounded, Healthy, Vigorful, and Exceptional health. Players generally start a thread healthy, unless a thread is linked at the beginning, usually a resource thread, and they will have a higher or lower health status depending on the result of the linked thread. (Their entire health status will transfer over to be their new thread.)
In order to keep monitoring the condition of players in a fair and balanced way players will have a "Vitals Card" (if players can find a code they want to use they can put their card in it.) that will be posted in most if not all posts, so players, and moderating staff can see what effects and condition they are under during that post. Down below you can see an example of what a Vitals Card looks like.
Note: Your Vitals Card will be given to you when you make a character, and every time you go through a growth spurt you gain a new one, the card you receive will be your base stats, your base state unless a thread a has been linked. This base card will be posted in your dossier along with your adaptations.

- Fatal - The player has been damaged and weakened to the point it seems they won't make it. This state doesn't necessarily mean death, but in this condition players often have a special effect placed on them to bring them closer to death unless whatever has them in a fatal condition is taken care of.
- Wounded - The player has taken damage, whether it be internal or external. At this point, the damage can be healed easily, but the player will feel a slight strain, especially around the weakened limb/body part.
- Healthy - A normal condition. The player isn't hungry, nor full, nor are they burdened by any effect to the point they are experiencing damage that makes things more difficult.
- Vigorful - The player is well-fed. They don't feel any problems with their body whatsoever and at the moment find themselves having more energy than normal. Not only do they feel like they can take a little more than normal, but their body also seems to be functioning rather smoothly.
- Exceptional - The player have taken excellent care of themselves. All their needs have been taken care of, and both body and mind feel refreshed, as all physical capabilities are running at 150%. It would take quite a bit to weaken a player in this state.
