you cannot hold me captive
welcome to Survival of the Fittest
In the year 3096 humanity left earth forever, much of its history lost due to wars and disaster.
The only leftovers were seized by the last human government—
The Dimiran Empire, formed from the weatlhiest and most advanced conglomerates on the planet.
They quickly colonized seven new homeplanets, each one headed by a different company and humans began to prosper once again.
Now, in the year 5247 the empire thrives on nine planets, but within the last ten years a new form of "entertainment" has shown up within the empire.
Under the guise of scientific study, the government has gathered criminals, slaves, debtors, or contracted individuals to help study the ecosystems of foreign planets.
Those in the experiment are genetically altered to become humanoid monsters with traits similar to animals from earth.
They are then sent to varying planets where they must adapt to survive.
Their struggles are watched through constant livestreams for entertainment.
Unfortunately, you are one these experiments.
Sorry for this.
The premise for this roleplay is that you are a human from one of the nine homeplanets who, due to varying circumstances, are inducted into the experiment, becoming mutated and left to survive in an alien ecosystem. You go through growth spurts to gain adaptations, or improve/modify existing ones. You get to choose the planet you wish to land on, but the landing pods aren't stable so where you land on the planet will be random.

[attr="class","p_template"] [attr="class","p_header"]introduction [attr="class","p_content"]When the Dimiran Empire reached the frontier belt, the found seven planets ideal for terraforming. Before the government fell apart, it allowed seven different companies to oversee the development of the new colonies on the planets. These would join to continue the legacy of the Dimiran Emire, creating the United Capitalist Councils of the Dimiran Planets, or the UCCDP.
More than two thousand years have passed since the establishment of the UCCDP. There are nine celestial planets, each governed by different corporations. They have become like individual nations, with their own laws and culture. They are all under the UCCDP, allowing anyone to move to a different planet if they so choose. The Council, which presides over the nine planets, meet upon a private station in space to avoid showing favor to one particular planet. However, it could be said their control has waned over the centuries.

[attr="class","p_template"] [attr="class","p_header"]home planets [attr="class","p_content"]Balnora | The first planet colonized by one of the leading conglomerates, a planet with plenty of minerals and natural gases along with sources of natural water it was soon industrialized the planet building it's infrastructure and economy around exploiting its resources. The cities of Balnora are vast and tall modeled after the iron and stone cities of yore, while they seem to have quite a few luxuries the laws of this planet are strict under the rule of the Drysil Corporation, their government was eager to accept The Great Game when it was suggested, making it possible to be sentenced for it for the pettiest of crimes. It's even gotten to the point where there are state-run businesses advertised for people to sell themselves into the game to pay family debts. There seems to be a strict social difference between the state workers and the plant, or service workers of the planet even if it's not visible.
Touselle | A planet of agreeable temperatures and atmosphere this once barren planet was soon filled with reservoirs and canals to bring water and plant life from earth to terraform it into a mirror of their old home. Due to its vast acres of flat land it soon became an agricultural haven of large communities of farms and ranches, building a self-sustaining system around growing crops and raising animals. It is one of the least populated of the homeworlds the people enjoy relaxed lives due to the amount of money the agricultural business produces from supplying 76% of all grown goods sold and traded through the interplanetary government. Governed by the Noel Family Conglomerate this could be considered one of the most relaxed planets as the smaller population are usually guaranteed a farm job from family and if one gets in trouble it's not uncommon for bribes to keep one from entering the game. Though people who might interrupt the status quo might be framed, or coerced into entering and it seems the people of the planet accept this.
Pannan | Covered entirely in salt-water Pannan was filled with its plankton and micro-organisms along with sea vegetation in order to add sea life for the purpose of research and cultivation. With odd storms and interesting weather, all of this planets cities exist on giant metal tankers focused around research stations and sea-farming. The least populated planet due to its vastly separated islands cities this planet is occupied by intellectuals and hard-workers, though the planet has a stoic feel. They have some luxuries but the people here are usually focused on family, or work with little spare time for hobbies which is often replaced with passion in work. When it comes to The Great Game, Survival of The fittest the people living here believe it's a sentence for crimes just below death, and people can only sell themselves into it through heavily regulated procedures ran by the colonizing research company of the Sei inc.
Fjona | A planet similar to earlier variations of earth with water and plant vegetation warm year round except for a brief winter during which it rarely snows. Without many alterations the planet was terraformed to become a mirror of the planet they came from, Adding various plant life, but the planet developed with no singular focus for its economy and politics. It became a place where all careers are equally valued it is separated into nature districts, residential and commercial, becoming self-sustaining it would slowly become known as the nicest and second most populated planet. Lead by the CWD conglomerate this planet tries to help its people, even abhoring the game leaving it as the worst possible sentence, and it being completely illegal to sell yourself into the game, though it can be noted that a black market for it exists in less well of neighborhoods. A place where people can live with freedom of choice for a future path.
Sakkens | A mountainous planet with various rivers that flow into the undergrounds it was valued not for resources but stable space. While seemingly bare the populous of this Homeworld either live in the docking and tourist areas around the river that lead into the larger city. Underneath the rock of the planet was added a massive complex of residential areas, and commercial working as a giant trade and commerce based planet, each job having some relation to the larger sales and transactions that go on throughout the entire planet. Overseen by the Azure Trading company it has a busy economy with the possibility of meeting with independent agents to help people enter the game for a commission instead of for crime, though it's still probable. The people here even accepting to the game to a point, possibly due to the monitors throughout the large mall-like planet streaming live activity of Survivalists on planets.
Fantelele | Marked with constant snow-storms and blurring winds this place is an odd paradise where domed cities exist around glaciers, and ice caps, having artificially monitored temperatures to create melt-water lakes and faux spring towns. Originally a small planet meant for vacationing people it was soon turned into its own functioning planet state, building a cultural and economy around the springs they had within their faux tropical domed cities. Gambling, drinking, and other such vices being legal on this planet, essentially becoming a redlight planet that seemed to indulge in pleasure, only able to visit other cities through train but it not being uncommon just for a drink. While giving off the vibe of a relaxing getaway Fantelele is dominated by the Lucky Go conglomerate, who loosened the laws to allow the once small population to use once criminal activities to bring in business. While the law of the planet states that certain crimes can get people enlisted into the game it is more common for a child, or unfortunate individual to be kidnapped and sold into it simply for profit. While not everyone on the planet is okay with it they seem to treat it like it doesn't happen, police even taking bribes to look another way.
Syip | Despite its title as a Homeworld Syip is more accurately a dwarf planet, a bit cold and bare all over there were no attempts to make the planet more agreeable to its colonizers. Instead, it was initially just an outpost that soon began to harbor transporting prisoners before the entire planet became marked with large prisons in which had communities develop around them for the prison-workers to live in. Owned by the E&R private corrections and transport corporation it was the first planet to support the game besides its originating home-world. A cynic and dark place populated with prisoners, or prison workers and the rare other occupation has fair laws, but there does exist corrupt cops who will take payment to get someone arrested and enlisted as a Survivalist. Rather than liking it the people of the planet accept the game, and feel it's all part of the order and it would be more dangerous to fight it. The acceptance has gotten to the point that it became the second of two planets to actually perform the gene-therapy as well as holding survivalists before planet dropping.
Citadel | Of the seven original Homeworlds Citadel was the only to be colonized by a military organization, governed by the private military contracting company Gungnir the desert planet with lake-sized oasis was soon capitalized on, building bases around the lakes which soon became towns as people's families moved to the base. Unfortunately while also working as the military for the interplanetary government they also still work as private contractors working against pirates or the other governments of survivors from earth that have colonized other reaches of space. This strong military culture has pervaded the culture of the planet and while most people seem to live normal lives with dreams of regular jobs or steady military work it is common for an aggressive or warlike stance to be taken by the people who live in the idyllic suburban military towns that sit around the lakes. This culture has been ingrained so far that it is believed one of the creators of the game was born here, and this has become known throughout citadel most people encouraging the game, and some people even training themselves before volunteering willingly to enter Survival of The Fittest, and oddity only seen on two planets including itself. Though the most unusual bit of it all is that members of Citadel who enter as prisoners or willingly always bring a slave, the planet having legalized slavery through war having a market in every town, and it not being uncommon for children to grow up with one around their age, it often being the one who would enter with a child should they join the game.
Cadyumn | Known as the planet of entertainment it is the ninth homeworld and the newest of the two newer homeworlds (the other being Syip) it was found to be a planet with dead soil but plenty of reservoirs filled with clean drinkable water. With this abundance of water, it was set on the direction of being taken over by a water company that had survived the destruction but was run out of town by the only surviving game development company from earth. No one knows the tactics they used but the settlements were soon bustling with hobby based stores or other entertainment based goods. Building Metropolises with parks in the middle of them the entire focus of the planet became entertainment, games, tests of skill, and ect. While jobs running things exist there is a large job market for the people who participate in competitions for their game/test of skill. However under Coliseum Games Cadyumn is where Survival of The Fittest originates from, it being a game people bet on, or have people enter under their "sponsor." Though it seems hard to tell how the creators feel as there is no goal for the game other than watching the Survivalists survive. The populous of the planet are mixed with their feelings on the game, some entering freely of their own will or supporting it while others abhor it and don't see it as a true game especially with how it brought slavery to their planet as a possibility for losing a competition.

[attr="class","p_template"] [attr="class","p_header"]colony planets [attr="class","p_content"]Despite their name, there are no human settlements on these planets. These are the game planets for the ever-running event known as Survival of the Fittest. They were selected because of their vast and unique ecosystems that harbor life on them.
Survivalists are placed into a pod which encases them in layers of shock-absorbent, insulating gel. The pod is then launched off to the planet of their choosing, although Survivalists will be unconscious during the trip. The specific landing location is unpredictable for the Survivalists, and once they land in their unfamiliar environment, the gel will dissolve.
Though each planet has a generally themed environment, upon closer inspection, they all have unique and varying biomes with impressive diversity.
Skadi | Despite every part of the planet being covered in snow, or ice, and all the water is either in hot springs or under ice plant life has flourished. An odd snow savannah planet, with tall blades of ice-covered grass. Along with a few trees with ice-covered leaves. The plants have evolved to gather ice during the night, and then using biothermal cells in their body heat up during the day and melt the ice covering them, hydrating themselves before once again gathering more ice during the night. What is more surprising on further site is that the planet has two different supercontinents separated by different sea's and sometimes connected by bridges of ice in the coldest parts of the year. Whether you settle or roam on this planet the weather will always bring harshness when its most unexpected.
Hel | A desert planet with rocky plateaus all strewn about, the only water available to the creatures in the desert being the little rain and floral life that can store water. The entire desert being rocky, red, and home to plenty of dust storms. However, the entire plant is split down the middle by a massive canyon with a river that circles completely around at the bottom. The shore of the river is home to plenty of plant life like that, and the walls of the canyon have caves that lead into the earth, seemingly natural to the planet and not a creature made. The dry and foreboding landscape that is split into two hemispheres, both the eastern side and the western side of the planet have gained their own ecosystems and their own ways to provide nourishment to life within them, the planets duality often seen in everything.
Aesir | A planet whose surface level is covered with a 5-meter planetary ocean with a toxic mist that constantly hovers above it, though there are no waves the currents still differ throughout the regions. Large rock pillars sprout throughout the planet towering like skyscrapers with vast ecosystems among the flat tops that create odd regions of pillars with similar environments despite the space, and then suddenly changing to a new pattern a few kilometers down, sometimes obviously due to differences in the height of the pillars. The sheer height of the planets pillars shaping and making weather resulting in storms and clouds that form from anywhere between the middle of the pillars and above the treeline. The clouds of various sizes being visible from space.
